Read about our impactLeveraging generative AI to automate and enhance the accuracy of cross-referencing life sciences guidance documents, to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
A specialised unit within a distinguished legal firm encountered significant challenges in handling and interpreting region-specific life sciences guidance documents across the UK and EU. This process was labour-intensive, time-consuming, and prone to human error, undermining the firm's ability to deliver timely and precise legal counsel. This was negatively impacting the firm’s levels of client satisfaction — as well as their operational efficiency.
At Scrumconnect, we tackled this challenge head-on by developing an innovative generative AI Agent designed explicitly to automate and streamline the cross-referencing of UK and EU life sciences guidance documents.
We initiated comprehensive consultations with the business unit to deeply understand their specific needs, pain points, and the intricate nature of the documents they routinely handled. Through this thorough analysis, we identified primary documents and regulatory guidelines that demanded frequent cross-referencing and detailed scrutiny.
We collected and seamlessly integrated life sciences guidance documents from both the UK and EU into our AI system. Leveraging advanced generative AI models, we trained our system to interpret complex legal texts, decode legal jargon, and furnish coherent, contextually accurate responses. Additionally, our solution incorporated sophisticated Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms, enabling the AI to understand and respond to user queries in a natural and intuitive manner.
Our AI Agent was empowered to accept user queries related to specific legal issues or guidance documents, interpreting questions in natural language to provide precise responses. We engineered a robust mechanism allowing the AI Agent to cross-reference pertinent information from both UK and EU guidance documents, delivering comprehensive insights. Additionally, we implemented a feature enabling the AI Agent to generate concise summaries that amalgamated recommendations from UK and EU sources, offering actionable overviews.
Extensive beta testing was conducted with the business unit to ensure the AI Agent aligned perfectly with their operational needs. User feedback was instrumental in refining our solution. Incorporating this feedback, we iteratively refined the AI Agent, enhancing its accuracy, response time, and user interface to ensure optimal usability and effectiveness.
Following rigorous testing and refinement phases, we successfully deployed the AI Agent within the business unit and conducted comprehensive training sessions to familiarise staff with the system. The AI Agent garnered exceptional feedback for its ability to significantly reduce the time and effort involved in cross-referencing documents, thereby enhancing overall operational efficiency and accuracy.
Our AI solution significantly improved operational efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction by automating and streamlining the cross-referencing of legal documents.
By automating manual cross-referencing tasks, the AI Agent drastically reduced time expenditures, enabling legal professionals to allocate more resources to high-value activities.
Our solution improved the precision of information retrieval and cross-referencing, minimising the risk of human error and elevating the quality of legal advice delivered.
Positive user feedback underscored the AI Agent’s user-friendly interface and its transformative impact on daily workflows, aligning seamlessly with the business unit’s operational needs.
