Not too long ago, AI was confined to narrow, niche use cases. Now it’s evolved into a defining force across industries. And here in the UK, where AI is already a cornerstone of digital strategy and innovation, 2025 marks a crucial turning point.
Generative AI tools, in particular, have caught the public imagination and have rapidly become embedded in workflows across all industry sectors. McKinsey estimates that workplace adoption doubled in 2024 alone. But as the technology scales, so too does the responsibility for enterprise leaders, policymakers, and researchers to align innovation with integrity.
Britain operates the world’s third-largest AI sector. And now we even have an ambitious national agenda to back it all up.
