Our 2025 predictions
As the year comes to a close, we’ve asked members of Scrumconnect’s leadership team to offer their thoughts on changes and evolutions they anticipate in the industry over the coming year.
We are pleased to announce that Scrumconnect Consulting has been awarded a two-year contract with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), valued at up to £19 million. This is an exciting opportunity for us to bring our expertise in digital transformation to support one of the UK’s most ambitious housing initiatives.
The contract, which began in late October, will see us working closely with MHCLG’s policy teams on early discovery work for new and existing digital services. These services will play a critical role in delivering the government’s target of 1.5 million new homes over the next five years. By embedding user-centred design principles and Agile delivery methods, we aim to accelerate the development of effective, innovative digital solutions that help meet the needs of citizens and communities.
Our work with MHCLG builds on our extensive experience delivering transformative projects across government departments, including DWP, the Home Office, HMCTS, and the Department for Education. We currently support 16 of the top 75 government services identified by the Central Digital & Data Office (CDDO), with a strong focus on driving outcomes that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
“With home building being such an important issue for citizens and the government, working with MHCLG on this critical project is an opportunity for us to help shape services that really make a difference,” says Gavin Elliott, Chief Design Officer at Scrumconnect Consulting. “User-centred design is in our DNA and is vital to the long-term success of any project. As an SME, it’s great to see our approach being further validated as we continue to expand our footprint across government departments, bringing our leading design expertise to a project that will truly resonate with UK citizens.”
This contract reflects our continued growth and the trust placed in us to deliver high-quality services that align with key policy priorities. We look forward to working in partnership with MHCLG to address the challenges and opportunities in housing development through modern, scalable, and user-centred digital services.
