To truly innovate AI, Britain must first innovate AI’s foundations

Scrumconnect Consulting, the award-winning British digital technology company, proudly reaffirms its commitment as an enthusiastic supporter of UK apprenticeships, recognising the immense value, benefits, and opportunities they bring to the business and wider digital economy.
The company currently employs four apprentices in high-value digital delivery roles and is further strengthening this investment by committing to hiring at least one apprentice per quarter over the next year.
Demonstrating alignment with the UK AI Opportunities Action Plan, Scrumconnect has recently welcomed its first AI and Data Apprentice, ensuring that emerging talent is equipped with the skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
As a delivery partner to the UK Apprenticeship Service, part of the Department for Education (DfE), Scrumconnect is playing a key role in the development of a new digital solution to support apprenticeships. This project aims to create an app designed to enhance apprentice achievement, satisfaction, and understanding, with the capability to also support employers and the wider DfE to benefit all types of learners.
Praveen Karadiguddi, co-founder and CEO of Scrumconnect, said: “As a British company, we take great pride in supporting and developing the next generation of our nation's talent. Investing in apprenticeships isn’t just about the future; it’s about the present. We’re equipping emerging talent with the skills they need to thrive in AI, data, and digital transformation. This strengthens Britain’s leadership in global innovation and ensures our workforce is ready for what’s next.”

AI adoption is booming, but leadership means more than innovation. For the UK to lead, we must build trust, invest in skills, and embed ethics by design.
